Repair café

2021 is going to be an exciting year for the cafe – following an idea tabled at a meeting in November 2019, the idea of a Repair Café in Chesham is starting to take shape. We visited Aston Clinton Repair Café in February 2020 and investigations are under way to find a location and a date for a monthly event.

Save the date

Currently the first pop up café is planned for Sunday 12th September at The Bagnall Project in Waterside.

It will run between 10-1pm and have 20 minute slots for simple repairs to prevent your household items heading to landfill.

When we know what repairers will be available on the day we will post up on here so you know what objects you can bring along.

In the meantime if you have any questions email repaircafe@sustainablechesham.org.uk

Grant awarded

We are thrilled to have been awarded a £500 grant by Transition Network to help us set this up which is great news and really appreciated. The funding is part of Transition:Bounce Forward and The National Lottery Community Fund and will help immensely to help with logistics and rental costs.
