Woodland Trust tree planting scheme

We have had the delivery of 315 tree specimens [approx 60cm whips] from the Woodland Trust Scheme.

See the photo of Sam, Charlotte and Freddie Fleming planting our first tree in Chartridge!
Of the 315 specimens that have been sent we have allocated 100 to spaces in Chesham and we have had enquiries about the other 215, but they are for areas further away.

Our priority is allocating the trees to spaces in Chesham and surrounding villages, so if you know of anyone looking to plant any of the following trees do get in touch.
Specimens available;
Oak
Blackthorn
Crab Apple
Silver Birch
Dogwood
Rowan
Hazel
Hawthorn

Ideally they would like them in public places and we are in touch with local schools and the town council to discuss how they can be used as a community asset, however we are also looking for individuals to take some.

If you are interested in taking a tree/some trees, please message action@sustainablechesham.org.uk

See the ‘Big Trees’ post on the project page for more information.
